"A synonym is a word you use when you can't spell the other one."
I like this quote because it is so true. There are times in writing when I can’t even remember how to spell a simple word. Or, there are those times when you can remember what letter the word starts with, but you can’t even think what the word is.
It is then, I find, that you have to use other words in place for them, and then, three seconds later, you find you are writing the word you couldn’t even think of without noticing. It’s funny to realize that when you’re thinking too hard about things, they usually don’t come. You can’t force things to happen, they just do.
