I just finished reading the Thieves of Shadow Series!!! I absolutely loved the characters, background, and magic! I loved all of the different types of thieves in this book (con artists, distracters, runners, etc.) The way the book ended was very surprising—I liked how old characters were brought back in mind-blowing ways!

This is a fantasy series with magic, mysteries, and humor! Definitely right up my genre—I love this style of book and the way it was set up was very natural. I could believe that this world actually exists from the way it was described! I also enjoyed the backgrounds of each character; it was interesting to see what twists Kevin Sands put in this book!

In the first book of this series, Children of the Fox, Callan (con artist) is given a job to steal the most powerful artifact of all time—the Dragon’s Eye. Along with a team of unlikely thieves, Callan and his accomplices manage to steal the Eye out from under the High Weaver. When they are tricked, Callan must rally his group of thieves and return to take back what they lost. This thrilling adventure keeps readers on the edges of their seats waiting for Callan and his accomplices next stunning move!!!

In the second book, Seekers of the Fox, the background of this world is laid. Readers learn more about Shuna the Fox, Artha the Bear, and other magical spirits that protect their people. Callan and the other young thieves are forced into another job when an injury leaves one of their friends at a critical stage. They have to track down the Dragon’s Teeth, the magical swords that can both heal and kill with a single touch. This book turns this series upside down as new revelations keep readers guessing until the very end!

In the final book of this series, Champions of the Fox, the group of thieves must pull off their most dangerous theft yet. They must break into the most secure prison in the world and rescue a man who has been imprisoned since the beginning of time. When, yet again, Callan realizes he has been tricked, he and his friends are forced to turn to the spirits, Shuna and Artha, in the hope that they can save the world before their mistakes turn into disaster.

{Warning: Spoiler} The only reason I didn’t give it five stars it was that Callan didn’t defeat the Eye or the Dragon himself—he relied on Artha to do it for him. Also the ending battle seemed very rushed… I couldn’t really understand what was going on when she destroyed the Dragon. However, the background and the characters had a lot of depth and meaning. The writing was spectacular even if the last battle was rushed. I definitely would recommend!!!

This series was very interesting and I loved the way each revelation led to a breathtaking realization! Completely clean and fun for all ages. This series is a must-read for all you lovers of fiction, fantasy, and magic!

Hope you enjoy this series. Comment below your opinions on these books!!!
